Ruchi Sanghi

Artistic director and principal dancer is an acclaimed kathak dancer with decades of training under the renowned teacher, dancer and choreographer Padmashree, Shri Gopi Krishna.
Her training in other dance forms (folk, western Jazz, Flamenco) makes her a versatile and innovative choreographer. Her work includes traditional solo pieces alongside compelling contemporary and fusion group choreographies.

Cheryl Khurana

Cheryl has been a principal member of RSDC for more than 4 years. Besides 8 years of training in kathak and Indian folk Cheryl also trains in Flamenco and Indian classical music She is also been a teacher at the RSID for the last 4years.
She has emerged as a dynamic soloist and has a string of dance awards to her credit such as Silver at the McDonalds performing arts challenge. She has had the privilege of performing live with the legendary bollywood singer Shri Manna Dey in his tour of Australia and New Zealand in 2006.

Ila Srivastava

A scintillating performer, Ila has over 8 yrs of strong kathak training and a string of awards to her credit .She has been involved in choreographing group as well as solo pieces for the school. As a teacher at RSID ,Ila has proved to be an asset to the school and an inspiration to students.

Swati Sethi

Swati entered the world of Kathak 8 yrs back after training in ballet for many years and was enthralled by the dance form. She has been a principal member of the dance company since 2004 and has a number of solo and group performances to her credit.

Nishtha Handa

Having trained in kathak from the young age of 8 Nishtha has been a dedicated student and is now a talented performer with the RSDC. Dance happens to be a large part of her identity.
